In 2008, our team saw an untapped potential to offer consumers the ability to buy a power lift and recline chair from their favorite furniture store instead of their local pharmacy. The need for lift and recline chairs was increasing, so why not give individuals the opportunity to enjoy the quality and comfort they had to offer. We reached out to the furniture industry in 2008 and in 2009, UltraComfort America was born. Its impact on the industry was immediate and has been changing the face of power lift chairs ever since with its innovative design, unmatched quality and good old fashioned craftsmanship made by American Workers.

Today, UltraComfort America occupies well over 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Old Forge, Pennsylvania and a 50,000 square feet distribution center in Laflin, Pennsylvania. This line offers five different collections making a “power recliner that lifts” for everyone.
